WHO IS THIS FOR?
Committed students that are enrolled in dance classes outside of the Trainee program who want to develop their technique and artistry and have more performance opportunities. This program is fantastic for any dancer interested in pursuing a career in dance.
TRAINING
Trainees participate in ballet technique, pointe, variations, contemporary, modern, and/or jazz classes taught by NEBT faculty and guest artists. In addition, Trainees rehearse and perform works set on them from the repertory of New England Ballet Theatre. Trainees may participate in workshops on choreography, dance history, health & wellness and more.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Trainees may perform in outreach performances throughout the community as well as NEBT full-length productions including The Fantastic Toyshop, the student choreography production, and the spring ballet.
TUITION
Tuition for the Trainee Program is $2,835 for the year.
The School of New England Ballet Theatre's Trainee Program offers supplemental classical ballet training and performance opportunities to promising young dancers. Students will be provided the experience necessary to dive deeper into their technical and artistic selves, while receiving personal attention in a supportive and nurturing environment. Trainees will also get the opportunity to take classes from guest faculty in styles such as jazz, contemporary, character, modern, and repertoire. Trainees will also be given the opportunity to choreograph and have their work performed in NEBT's annual student choreography showcase.
The Trainee Program runs on Sundays during the school year from 10:00am-3:00pm. Those chosen for the Trainee Program can expect a demanding curriculum and several performance opportunities throughout the year.
