Mira Sidhu grew up in Dayton, Ohio, where she trained at Pontecorvo Ballet Studios under Barbara Pontecorvo. During her time at PBS, she became a principal dancer with Gem City Ballet, the school’s resident pre-professional ballet company. Mira then went on to continue her dance education at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music and earned her BFA in ballet. Her instructors included Deirdre Carberry, Qi Jiang, Tricia Sundbeck and Gemma Diaz. Mira is currently in her second season with New England Ballet Theatre.
